Any writer who is serious about getting published (be it via self-publishing or a traditional publisher) needs to invest in having their work professionally edited. A Great Read Publishers will not only work to catch errors, but will enhance any written work without losing the author’s voice.


Manuscript Critique: $50.00 for up to two chapters of your choosing (50 page limit using acceptable submission format listed below).

Our Standard Editing package includes the following:

A Great Read Publishers will sit down with the author to determine his/her needs during the editing process.  A completion date will be agreed to by both parties at this time, as well as the number of pages submitted, in order to determine the total cost.

We will then read your written work (generally fiction) with a critical eye, and perform the following tasks:

-Line-By-Line Editing: We will check your work for grammar, spelling, and punctuation issues.

-Creative Editing: We will assist the author in fully developing their thoughts and ideas.

-Storyline Consistency and Organization: We assist with organizing your story's time line so that it makes sense to your readers.

COST: $6.00 to $8.00 per page.

ACCEPTABLE SUBMISSION FORMAT:

Typewritten ONLY on 8.5 x 11 paper

Text should be double spaced

12-point font (Times New Roman, Arial, or Courier New)
One inch margins all around the page (top, bottom, left, and right)
Twenty-five (25) page minimum accepted only

PAYMENT:

A down payment of fifty (50%) percent will be required before the editing process begins. This is not negotiable. The final fifty (50%) percent of the total cost will be due immediately upon completion.

Your edited written work will NOT be released until full payment has been received by A Great Read Publishers, LLC upon completion. This is not negotiable.

-Cash;
-USPS money order, made payable to A Great Read Publishers, LLC; OR
